Journey + Purpose

Ranger Tea is an Indigenous woman owned, organic loose leaf tea brand offering respectfully gathered mountain botanicals & organic Teacrafting steeped in Ancestral wisdom for Community, Plant kin & Nunak “Land”. Teacrafting with care and reciprocity as grateful guests on Skwxwú7mesh & Líl̓wat7úl Territories. Formulated by Celtic Inuk Herbalist, Isabelle Ranger.

As an adoptee, local Indigenous Communities, Plant kin & the Nunak are the foundational grounding of my reconnection journey and lifelong teachers. Indigenous ways of knowing, gathering, sharing, harvesting food and teacrafting. Learning Nunatsiavummiutut the dialect of my Inuit Community as well as Ucwalmicwts & Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim, the beautiful languages of my chosen Family, Friends & Territories. Sovereign Unceded Lands where we gather respectfully for Community. Learning our languages, Cultures, stories, ways of gathering in relationship is deeply healing.

As an Herbalist i love to be out on the nunak "land" the most with Cédric, our Family and Indigenous Community: respectfully gathering with woven baskets while land based learning. Building relationships with plant kin over decades, singing to them, caring for them and sharing their medicines. It is where i am most nourished, connected & inspired. Land based learning offers so much more. I am a Mother of 3, a berry picker, medicine gatherer, fungi forager, harvester, multi media crafter, fly fisher and trail runner. I am a Indigenous Womxn Impact investor, Indigenous Woman Outdoors participant & lead and a Teacrafter for Community.

This lifelong botanical journey has taken us to amazing peaks, valleys & mountain meadows for the past 24 years. Starting as a Community Herbalist, with an herbal apothecary in Líl̓wat7úl Territory where i was handcrafting custom blends one on one. This evolved to Teacrafting in loose leaf teapouches for grocery and foodservice. Long awaited name change, a pandemic and lots of loyal clients who we are so grateful for. We could never go back to single use waste, no matter how convenient. The past few years challenges as an organic loose leaf teacrafters have taught a lot in so many good ways. We custom blend tisanes and teas for amazing cafes, bakeries, collaborate on co brands and for all of you tea lovers. Some things change but somethings never need to: Organic loose leaf teas and tisanes that do good for Community, Plant Kin & Nunak.

Botanical brews for adventures.

Nakummesuak! Thank you very much!
